Crawl With Us: Logistics & Shipment Tracking System
Crawl With Us transforms shipment operations with a unified tracking system that delivers real-time visibility to customers and eliminates manual status inquiries.
The Challenge
Crawl With Us, the nation's largest experiential events company organizing large-scale themed events across 125+ cities, managed order data, invoices, and UPS shipping information across disconnected systems. Customers had no streamlined way to track their shipments and were forced to call in or wait for manual updates.
The fragmented approach created a reactive, high-touch process where the internal team spent significant time fielding "where's my order" inquiries and manually checking shipment statuses. As event operations scaled nationwide, this bottleneck threatened to overwhelm support resources.
Our Approach
A comprehensive logistics platform was engineered, integrating directly with UPS developer APIs to provide real-time shipment visibility. The customer-facing solution enables order tracking, automatic status notifications, and self-service capabilities, including delivery address modifications, without contacting support. On the backend, end-to-end systems were built around the entire shipping operation, eliminating manual status checks and reactive customer service.
Implementation Phases
Mapped existing data sources and established UPS developer portal integration with secure API connections.
Built customer-facing tracking interface with real-time status updates and self-service address modification.
Developed automated status monitoring, notification triggers, and internal operations dashboard.
End-to-end testing across shipment scenarios and production rollout with monitoring.
